Purchasing and Importing biological materials:

The biological materials must be classified as Risk Group 2 (RG2) and will be used in the service projects of this core facility. The main assistance provided is in filling out documentation and applying for approval processes at institutions such as the Biosafety Committee and Taiwan Centers for Disease Control. The cost of purchasing the strains will be calculated separately based on the vendor's quotation and is not included in this service project.

RG2 positive sample testing

- The pricing for testing is based on the quantity of the samples to be tested (per unit).

- The experimental content can be categorized as antigen testing, nucleic acid testing, or other types of testing.

- The fee charged is solely for technical operation and does not include the cost of reagents.

Antiviral efficacy testing and neutralizing antibody titer evaluation

Prior to the execution of the service, discussions will be held with the user to assist in experiment planning, which includes:

1. Incorporating necessary control groups.

2. Confirming the quantity of test samples (drugs, small molecules, antibodies) and determining if serial dilution and replication are required.

3. Selecting the appropriate methodology for measurement and evaluation, such as Plaque assay, PRNT, TCID50, etc.

4. Determining if there are any specific requirements for the compilation, analysis, and presentation of the final experimental results and data, such as charts or images.

- The execution of this service will be based on the customized terms and conditions outlined in the contract.

Laboratory report

We provide a complete record of the experimental process, including hardware and facility parameters, as well as personnel-operated experiments. This record encompasses the experimental measurement results.

- Additionally, for outsourced testing experiments, we will provide relevant experimental result data compilation and analysis in accordance with the contract signed with the user.
